For young people, life is about pressure. Pressure comes from all directions influencing young people to conform, compromise, fit-in.
Our culture views the years of youth as only the training grounds for “real” life. The problem is that this is real life! Right now,
young people are making decisions and developing a value system that will shape the rest of their life. Impact youth ministry at
New Life exists to influence the very core of a young person – their spirit – to raise up a movement of young people who truly know
Jesus Christ and are seeking to live a life that will make Him known to others.
What’s Impact?
Anonymous Youth: “So, uh… youth group guy, website, uhhh…person. What is Impact, and why do you have a youth group meeting every Wednsday night?”
Pastor Chris: “I’m glad you asked. Impact is not meant to be a group or just a gathering. It is a movement of young people who are
passionately pursing God and a destiny-filled life that transforms their spirit, as well as their school, family, friends, and future.
Still not sure you’re ready? That’s okay. Impact is also a place for young people who are honestly seeking God. So, why do we meet?
There are five main purposes at the core of every Impact meeting:
- REACH - God designed us to reach teenagers with the message of hope. God wants a relationship with you!
- CONNECT - We need other people! Impact is a place to have fun while connecting with friends.
- GROW - We are on a journey to know God more and become who He designed us to be. Impact is a place to grow in your relationship with God and in the knowledge of His message (The Bible).
- DISCOVER - We are all gifted uniquely to serve God. At Impact, we want to help you discover how God has designed you for ministry.
- HONOR - Our lives should honor God. We help teenagers live out their faith now and into adulthood.
